I Didn’t Have Time to Learn Premiere… So I Asked AI to Make My SaaS Promo For Me

I’ll be honest:
I needed a clean, modern promo video for SampleHQ – and I had zero desire to open Premiere Pro at 2 AM.
So I tried something else.
I asked Gemini 3 to build the entire animation for me… in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Not a design system.
Not a storyboard.
A fully animated, timeline-based promo video I could screen-record.
And it worked.
Way better than it should have.
I gave Gemini 3 this simple prompt:
“Create a stunning, SaaS-style motion promo animation with GSAP and HTML.
Make it scene-based.
I’ll screen-record the browser like it’s Premiere.”
Gemini didn’t blink.
It generated:
All packed inside one self-contained HTML file.
Click run → full animation.
No timeline editing.
No After Effects.
Just a browser.
Once the scenes were ready, I wrote a clean script (which the AI helped refine), pasted it into ElevenLabs, and chose a calm, professional voice.
Instant studio-quality narration.
No retakes.
No awkward mic setup.
Just a perfect voiceover file.
I dropped:
…into Canva, adjusted timing with the drag of a mouse, and exported.
Done.
A full product promo video – in less time than it takes Premiere to open.
This wasn’t meant to be “the final polished masterpiece.”
This was a first mockup – a proof of how far the tools have come.
I asked:
And suddenly, I had a production-ready SaaS promo without a video editor, motion designer, or sound engineer.
A year ago, this workflow would’ve been science fiction.
If you’re building a product today, you don’t need a studio.
You just need:
This is just the beginning.
The caballito – the little horse – is out of the stable.
AI isn’t replacing creators…
It’s replacing the friction between ideas and execution.
And if you’re a founder, maker, or indie dev:
You now have a superpower.
If you want the exact prompts I used for Gemini & ElevenLabs, I can share those too.
